Jesus' disciples were of common Hebrew stock. They became Apostles through their tenacity and were firm in their commitment. They developed cell groups of believers called churches (gatherings). They were a minority then as God's appointed ones are today, not following mainstream ideals, but clinging steadfastly to Christ's teachings and enduring persecution for their unwavering faith. The rest of the world at that time was as deceived and enslaved as the world is today. Their world suffered under siege by secular powers, just as our world today is at the mercy of the same models of Government.

Sadly, the many-divided houses of God promote their own brand of elitism and partiality. Many Christian authorities are largely tolerant of sensual deviance and abhorrent authority. Religion has (in part) lost its zeal because the message has been so watered down that it fails to keep the believers faithful. Today, hypocrisy is an epidemic. So many are backsliding and falling into pits. The message herein brings you back to the fundamental "Gospel of Christ crucified" in a contemporary context.

This book is for those who have been thirsting and hungering for the righteousness of God. What many people need is encouragement to follow Jesus' example.Take courage now and share the experience of salvation and fresh revelation with a brother in Christ.

"Art thou my brother?"

I have known Nicholas A Stivers since early 2003 and have never met anyone who takes the Bible more serious than he does. Nicholas literally walks the pages of the Bible and finds that it manifests itself. The Word even today becomes reality. He is proving it over and over. My walk has been similar.

I founded a Discernment Ministry in 1992 named Cephas Ministry and have been on the web since it was made public. I have researched what is happening in the churches. Nicholas has an even deeper grasp on the problems that believers exemplify and are unaware of.

I address the apostasy that Nicholas wrote about in his book "Apostasy Revealed, " not from a perspective of what can I bring to the Gospel but focusing on false doctrines. Nicholas believes that we should serve our Savior with all we can muster and become His disciples. We owe it to Jesus Christ. I wholeheartedly agree with that and have tried to serve in a bond servant capacity. I truly believe that those who deem themselves Christians need to read this book. What Christians do not realize is that they can be fulfilled and attain an assuredness of going to heaven when they begin plowing, planting seeds, watering or harvesting wheat

There is nothing more fulfilling than actually getting involved and doing what the Word teaches.

I have discovered what Nicholas wrote about the church going people are not what Jesus was expecting. How that affects salvation is very important and Nicholas has a gift of teaching what Christians need to understand. I have read the book cover to cover because it kept my interest which is rare. The author wrote Bible concepts in understandable language yet retaining the sweetness of its message. All I kept thinking was even if I never meet this author I have his book to inspire me on.

God is good and has blessed me with getting to know Nicholas and his family personally and stand behind his work. Cephas Ministry has added Nicholas to the Corporation as a Vice President which he cherishes and is developing email groups and forums to teach the Gospel. There is no one I would prefer to Nicholas. He is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend his book "Apostasy Revealed" and hope he writes more books. Dedicated to Jesus Christ, I wrote this review in all sincerity.
